On 30th April 2019 we were honoured to be invited for the second time this year by the Research Support Services at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) to deliver an academic writing workshop for their post-graduate students and early career academics.
Over 90 brilliant young researchers filled the University’s library seminar room to learn practical tips from our COO and experienced trainer, Mr. Nick Case and our Chief Editor Dr. Mike Poole, to enhance the quality and impact of their academic writing. All participants actively engaged in the discussions and exercises on how to plan and structure their academic writing.
Together with the first session on 14th March, we are proud to have shared our expertise in academic writing with over 150 energetic postgraduate students at HKUST. The Research Support Services Unit is very pleased with the outcome and impact of the two fruitful workshops and they are looking into working with us again for further training shortly.
