Bryan majored in quantitative economics and international studies in undergrad. He earned a master’s degree in international relations from the University of Chicago, focusing on game theory, political philosophy, development, and East Asia.

In 2016, he moved to Taipei, where he started a career in academic editing and editorial quality assurance. In 2023, he returned home to the United States. In addition to editing, Bryan has served as an educator and research consultant. He spends much of his free time sweating at the gym. Bryan enjoys playing pub quizzes, but these days, he prefers to write and host his own. In his remaining free time, he might be found cooking, playing video games, studying languages, or catching up on sleep.
