Journal publication is critical to any successful researcher's
career, and we are here to ensure that your ideas receive the
recognition they deserve
Unlike most editing services, our service quote is not based purely on an arbitrary word count, but a thorough assessment of your document’s writing quality. This allows us to accurately estimate the level of editing and number of hours required to perfect your writing, regardless of its word count, to give the fairest possible price.
Your manuscript is reviewed by a subject specialist to ensure compliance with the stylistic, result-reporting and referencing conventions of your field, followed by a language specialist who focuses on general linguistic and stylistic issues to enhance the overall readability.

We guarantee the absolute confidentiality of your manuscript to protect your intellectual property, copyright and privacy. We sign confidentiality agreements on request.
We schedule and commence editing work 362 days a year, and offer a number of return options to suit all schedules, with papers of up to 8,000 words edited overnight when necessary.
We guarantee that if a manuscript remains unaltered after our editing, but is rejected by a journal on English language grounds alone, we will provide a re-edit free of charge.
We edit journal papers and associated documents (e.g., submission cover letters, reviewer response letters) from all fields, with the quality of our work having earned us respect across academia. Our editing improves documents in a number of areas:
Complying with general usage and grammar conventions.
Ensuring correct spelling and appropriate punctuation to clarify your meaning.
Checking for consistent use of key terminology.
Improving the ways you combine usage, sentence elements and sentence groups.
Enhancing the ways you link associated data, findings and ideas.
Refining the overall organisation of paragraphs and sections, where necessary.

by far our most requested service
requires 25% additional time:
an equivalent surcharge is applied.
Revisions are an integral part of the peer review publishing process. For transparency, if you revise a paper that we have previously edited we will charge the next round of editing according to the following:
35% of original cost
60% of original cost
80% of original cost
100% of original cost
We are happy to conform to any of the various style guidelines. Adhering to the APA or Chicago Manual of Style requires 20% additional time (and an equivalent surcharge), while specific journal guidelines require 30% additional time and surcharge. An additional surcharge may be levied, on a case-by-case basis, if in-text citations need to be changed from one format to the other (e.g., from the author–date citation style to the number citation style), as this change involves significant work. We only format Word (.doc and .docx) files.
The Editor Report is available for a flat fee for those who would like to improve their writing. This report outlines the key grammatical and stylistic areas of your writing that you can focus on when you write your next paper.
Provided free-of-charge when requested, you can use the Editing Certificate to prove that your document has been edited by a professional English language editing service.
Your Schedule, Our Prime Concern AsiaEdit takes a personalised approach to editing.
We work best with .doc or .docx files, as Word’s “Track Changes” feature makes it easy for you to see the revisions made by our editors.
If you are an Overleaf user, we can edit your TeX manuscript directly in Overleaf . Otherwise, we work with .tex files by converting them to .doc. We recommend that you also send us a PDF version of your manuscript for reference.
We currently edit .pdf files offline. Our editors will print your manuscript and make changes with a pen, and we will send you a scanned copy of this edited document. We strongly recommend submitting .doc, .docx, or .tex files.
When we edit in Word,
we use the Track Changes feature, which allows you to see everything we have done and accept or reject our changes individually, by section or page, or for the whole document.
Standard Editing includes a first editor reading through the document twice, after which a senior editor carries out a final check.
After Standard Editing you respond to any comments that the editor has inserted, and add any of your own to ensure your meaning has been clearly understood. A Senior Editor then works through your document a final time.
A report outlining the key grammatical and stylistic areas of your writing that would benefit from improvement in the future.
