Helping Hong Kong Universities not just Comply, but Fly through RAE 2026!

08 May 2025

With the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) 2026 deadlines drawing closer, we understand Hong Kong’s publicly funded universities are in the midst of drafting their Environment Overview Statements (EOS), Impact Case Studies (ICS) and Research Outputs (RO).

In 2024, we were appointed by CUHK’s Department of Educational Psychology to rehearse key elements of the upcoming assessment. In this mock exercise, we

-Copywrote EOS/ICS from scratch (from supplied source materials), ensuring compliance
-Edited EOS/ICS, reviewing for compliance and providing Zoom feedback/advice
-Edited RO, reviewing for compliance and providing feedback/advice
-Gave online training sessions on submitting for the RAE at both the university level and unit-of-assessment level

Following the exercise, Professor Timothy Teo, Associate Dean (Research), Faculty of Education, CUHK, shared a glowing review:

“I believe that AsiaEdit’s dedication and expertise would make them a valued partner in academic and research excellence to any department, faculty or institution undertaking the 2026 RAE.”

Building on three decades of collaboration with Hong Kong universities and deep familiarity with UGC funding cycles, we are pleased to offer comprehensive RAE 2026 support designed to help departments present the past six years of research and achieve four‑star evaluations.
