Rachel earned her bachelor’s degree from Reed College, majoring in French literature. She graduated cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School with a Juris Doctor degree and a certificate in general business law.

She has a passion for languages, and has studied Russian, German, Latin, and American Sign Language, in addition to French. She enjoys writing fiction, playing the piano, drawing, and calligraphy.
