Archana is an aerospace engineer turned scientific editor, with over five years of experience in the academic publishing industry. Archana holds an MS in Aerospace Engineering with specialization in Systems Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She received her Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (BELS) certification in 2018. Later, she completed the Advanced Program in Data Science from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, in which she led several projects related to aviation-related forecasting and prediction.

Archana is an aviation/space and literary enthusiast. She is proficient in Russian and is learning Norwegian (Bokmål). She can often be found tracking (but mainly admiring) celestial bodies in the night sky.
