Ben achieved a First Class BSc Hons in Physics at the University of Aberdeen in 2011, and went on to complete his DPhil in Materials Science at the University of Oxford in 2015. He has several years of experience working as a postdoctoral researcher, primarily investigating 2D nanomaterials, novel methods of additive nanomanufacturing, and wearable and flexible technologies.

Now relocated to Singapore to support his family, Ben maintains his passion for a diverse array of sciences by working as a scientific copyeditor for the AsiaEdit team. He is also a prodigious baker and enjoys long runs while listening to geeky audiobooks.
