Born in Canada and educated in the UK, Rahoul now lives in Florence, Italy, where he teaches media and communications courses and runs the writing support centre at Florida State University.
He completed his PhD in media and communications in 2016 at the London School of Economics (LSE) in the UK. Rahoul also taught many courses at the LSE in a variety of disciplines, including media and communications studies, sociology and cinema.
In his spare time, Rahoul enjoys swimming and exploring Tuscany with his wife and young son.
