Magali obtained an MA in Gender Studies with Distinction from Swansea University and a PhD in Gender and Sexuality Studies from University College London in 2018. While completing her PhD, she worked as a postgraduate teaching assistant at University College London in 2016 before joining AsiaEdit as a freelance editor in 2017 focusing on Social Sciences and Business & Economics. After completing her PhD, she started working full-time at AsiaEdit in 2018. She was appointed Senior Editor in September 2020 and Managing Editor, Business & Economics, in March 2021.

Outside of work, Magali enjoys reading, travelling, and building Lego sets.
