On Saturday 24th August we were honoured to be invited by the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, to deliver an academic writing workshop for their students studying on the Doctor of Hotel and Tourism Management (D.HTM) programme.
In the workshop, “Developing Academic Writing Skills”, we focused on building a theme from which to base our writing and the logic that then follows this. In turn we addressed readers’ expectations; coherence; clarity and the importance of revisions.
The half-day workshop was very well received, and we look forward to continuing to develop our partnership with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
