Dr Baron studied Psychology from undergraduate to PhD level at Exeter University, a top-10 university in the UK.
After a year working as a postdoc at a medical school in Plymouth, UK, she became a Lecturer on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology course at Exeter University. Here, she convened the Research Methods component of the course, provided research supervision to more than 10 doctoral students and served as both an internal and an external PhD examiner for various students. During this time, Dr Baron published nine research papers in top academic journals and collaborated on writing several research grant proposals. Since leaving academia 13 years ago, she has worked as an academic editor, mainly at AsiaEdit, where she has progressed from a junior editor to Head of Training and Development and Managing Editor for Social Sciences. During this time, she has edited thousands of academic papers and helped many authors to successfully publish their research.
