Esther graduated magma cum laude with a M.S. in Geoscience from the University of Arizona and Ph.D. in Experimental Geoscience from the Bayerisches Geoinstitut at the Universität Bayreuth. Her primary research involves the experimental and theoretical determination of transport and elastic properties of materials. In addition to her passion for science and academic editing, Esther is a scuba dive master, ski instructor, performance poet, composer, and musician.
