Credence has a Ph.D. from the University of Tours, where her thesis was titled “The Right of Performing Artists to Protect Their Works in the Digital Age,” along with a J.D. from the University of Oregon and an A.B. from the University of Chicago. Credence practiced business, intellectual property, and constitutional law for 22 years. She has taught both undergraduate and graduate law students in the United States, France, and Latvia, and she has authored numerous scholarly publications on Internet law and American constitutional law.
Outside of work, Credence enjoys dancing, weightlifting, taking care of a menagerie of dogs, cats, and goats, and chauffeuring her five children to and fro.
