Felix Sebastian Appointed Managing Director, AsiaEdit

04 April 2023

AsiaEdit is delighted to announce the appointment of Felix Sebastian as Managing Director. Since joining the team in 2020, Felix has served in multifaceted roles involving editing, marketing, operations, and strategy. He has over a decade of experience in the industry and is ideally positioned to take on this new role.

As Managing Director, Felix will continue to work closely with AsiaEdit’s leadership team to strengthen the company’s core offerings, introduce new services, expand outside of the company’s traditional geographies, and oversee the development and execution of the company’s strategic plans, all as the industry enters a transformative period given the increased availability and adoption of artificial intelligence tools.

“Felix was recruited with a view to joining AsiaEdit’s management team after a period to familiarise himself with the Company. We’ve been very happy with Felix’s contributions over the last 24 months,” said Peter Day, AsiaEdit CEO. “Felix’s creative approach to improving operations and customer service has resulted in a much smoother customer experience,” adds Nick Case, COO.

“AsiaEdit’s remote-first, globally distributed and flexible nature of working means that every day I get to work with the best in the academic author services industry from around the world. I’m delighted to work alongside veterans of the industry on both the business and editorial sides of AsiaEdit”, said Felix.

Outside of work, Felix enjoys exploring the numerous trails in northern Taiwan and recently even managed to squeeze in a hike during a four-day visit to AsiaEdit’s Hong Kong office. He is also a “weekend farmer”, who has been trying his hand at growing vegetables over the past two years, with varying degrees of success. Before moving out of Taipei City, Felix was a member of the Taiwan Celts, the oldest Gaelic football club in Asia.
